Biography / Info

Johnny Karlsson is an award winning Composer/Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist/Audio Engineer/Sound Designer who has created original music and sound design for numerous TV commercials, Games, Films, Trailers, Corporate Logos etc.

Johnny started his career as a guitar player in Sweden, where he played in bands with Andreas Johnson, Leif Sundin and others, before relocating to California.

When Johnny arrived in Los Angeles, he studied Guitar, Vocals and music theory in-depth at Musicians Institute, played the LA club scene for about 3 years and later graduated from UCLA's Recording Engineering program.

Johnny now runs his own studio in the hills of Mount Washington and enjoys working in both Pro Tools and Logic Studio.
