STOUTHEART ENTERTAINMENT is an Emmy® Award winning advertising, production and music company specializing in creating and producing affordable advertising campaigns and musical solutions for any sized business or company.
Damon Stout is a scholarship alum of the Berklee College Of Music in Boston. After formal training in composition and arranging, Damon attended UCLA for the Film Scoring program. His multi-instrument talent and years of performing aided in his success freelancing for The Coca-Cola Company. Damon wrote and produced over 50 commercial jingles for Coca-Cola and other clients for TV and radio, in national and international markets.
He has scored for feature films, television and short films, ranging from conducting a 65 piece orchestra to performing the score on an array of samplers. He won an Ohio Valley Chapter Emmy® for his original music in "The Golem." Damon's foray into writing and directing started with receiving a Los Angeles Local Emmy® Award for his Sci-Fi short, "Nomad, Roe." He then continued by writing and directing TV commercials for Coca-Cola, Pizza Hut, KFC, and Pepsi, then to his feature film, "Bulldog." Being hired to direct, produce, and edit a feature length documentary, "Higher Ground: Voices of Contemporary Gospel Music" via Image Entertainment soon followed.
Damon has further expanded his film production talents to include cinematography, editing, and post production sound. He is also a founding member of the Los Angeles based indie rock band "The Diviners" who in 2009 won both the Best Rock Video and Best Overall Video categories from AOL Music partnered OurStage.com
In 2011, "Celtic Pink Floyd" was released to worldwide acclaim as a group of 9 Celtic musicians recorded 12 classic Pink Floyd tunes arranged in a celtic rock fashion.
