Biography / Info

I am a composer instrumentalist. Composer for film, video and multi-media. Orchestral, band tracks and music for industrial, corporate and biographical documentaries. All music is copyrighted and original.

I began in music at age 4 where my family raised me in Plainville, Connecticut, USA. Music was all around me as child. Dad played saxaphone, wrote and arranged for the big bands in the 1950's, 60's and beyond. Mother played classical piano and both Mom and Dad arranged and conducted choral music in churches and around the hollidays. Uncles, aunts and neighborhood friends who visited our home also played and loved being at the Brown's to because of all the music that was always being heard and played there

Dad used to have me sit in on his rehursals and brought me to many of his gigs from the time I was 10 when I stared playing stand up bass for one of his big bands. I had to stand on a milk crate so I could reach the upper neck of the double bass. Because I was raised in a home with a piano, that was the first instrument I remember playing.

I formed my first band when I was 12, playing in the neighborhood and around town at paries and events. I gave my first piano concert/recital at age 7  at the Wheeler Grammar school in Plainville where I received an honorary music award for piano composition.

In my late teens my band traveled across country to California where we lived while working the club circuit. Las Vegas, San Francisco, LA, San Diago were cities we worked in. After playing in hundred of night clubs throughout LA, we signed contracts with A&M records. After three years In California and having worked with Tim Hardin, Eric Burden, writing charts with Herb Albert and palying back up for Kenny Rogers, I returned to New England where I pursued my virtuoso piano career. Jazz  provided a huge outlet for my creative skills and talents allowing me the opportunity to engage in performances with such jazz notorieties as Tommy Flannigan, Denny Green, Bill Jones, Freddy Hubard and many others.

I've played for Governors, Senators and hundreds of cellebraties through the decades and in every major city in the US including New Orleans, South Beach Miami, The Village in NY and gave concerts at the Arts Institute of Baltimore MD.

Today, I'm using my musical skills and experiences to produce music for all visuals and for the pleasure of those who feel music is a vital part of our spiritual and physical well being.

I can be reached at my home studio by visiting my website, for further information and a special listing of references for interested parties.
