He’s been living in Chorzów ever since he was born. In this city Gazella took his first steps in music discovering its variety, and later on also joy from music creation. Even when he was a little kid, he used to buy heaps of tapes for every single penny he’d scraped. Then he would immerse himself in the world of music wherever he was. His music-making adventure begun in 1998 with first self-composed melodies on PlayStation. Nowadays Gazella’s music is influenced by smashing 80s styles like new romantic, electropop or italian pop. Such bands as Duran Duran, Billy Idol, Corey Hart or Flock of Seagulls evoke memories of his childhood and them impact can be heard in Gazella’s music. He tries to mix different styles and of course adds something unique from himself – that makes Gazella’s style recognisable. By the end of 2007 his track ‘Voyage 74’ was featured in electroclash ‘Pink Kong vol.2’ medley (produced by electroclash.pl). In March 2009 his remix of Cool Kids of Death’s song “Leżeć’ was appreciated and awarded in MySpace Remix Contest.
