Biography / Info
Singer/Songwriter/ Producer, Leon Snape would like to be known as introducing a new form of soul to a new generation. He has a soulful disposition with his own unique style, but mix that with the soulful groove of Cameo, Keith Sweat, and inspiration from The Drifters, The Gap Band and Cheryl Lynn, (to name but a few) and you have Leon’s sultry R&B sound. In 2007, his music was featured on a Documentary for Channel 4 in the United Kingdom, and since then has been shown in Poland (Canal+), Canada, Sweden, New Zealand, Australia and Hong Kong. Much like his musical heroes before him, Leon has managed to keep one ear to the past and the other in tune with the future. "A Song is like life," he says. "Without a past, it has no future, and I wanted my music to reflect all of that." In 2012, he created Romja - a music and entertainment & lifestyle station. Still, an artist in the making was dying for his own chance. Leon is currently working on some projects , with hope that it will be appreciated and remembered for years to come. With all of its divergent musical currents, Leon hopes he will usher in a nu- breed of artist, one with across-the-board-appeal, unencumbered by any musical or social boundaries.
