Acoustic music composer (chamber music, minimalist, impressionnist) library music composer for Kosinus and Koka media (Universal Music Publishing) arranger for french singers (Salvatore Adamo, Regine, Benabar, Yves Duteil, Juliette Greco, Jean Guidoni...) Participate to more than 30 albums for Polydor, Virgin Classics, Jive-epic, Universal, Sony-BMG...as composer, arranger, producer or pianist. The compositions by Fabrice Ravel-Chapuis resemble minimalist and impressionist music. First round pianist and composer duo Artango (5 albums released), Fabrice produces a highly evocative music, rhythmic music that attempts to forge a link between contemporary research and popular music. Winner of the Villa Kujoyama - Kyoto (French foreigner office) in 2004, the "Villa Medicis" from Japan, he composed the spoken opera "Canal Tamagawa" with author Philip Adam, with whom he wrote in 2009 "a missing piece" a sort of continuo melodramatic melancholy that echoes the absurd.
