Since picking up an acoustic guitar at the age of 10, Cary forged a career in music from an early age. Moving onto bass guitar and fronting her own bands at the age of 13, she gained experience recording and playing a variety of different genres ranging from country and western to rock, classic rock songs, standard covers and original material.
Touring with a professional all female rock band in the early eighties, ‘She’s The Leader’, she started to write her own brand of female harmony pop songs. Viktoria’s Sekrets were an early project collaboration with Reluctant Stereotypes / Pink Umbrellas Paul Sampson, and Crokodile Tears, and the track 'Don't be Scared' appeared on several compilation albums released Worldwide. Under the name of ‘Blush’ the album 'Independence Day', was released in 2006 on the Sonar record label, and features original pop songs with Cary playing bass, electric guitars, keyboards, and singing backing and lead vocals. The follow up album ‘More Blush’ has been written and produced over the last four years to the Blush standard with lush harmonies and catchy melodies with collaborations from label mates Crokodile Tears.
