As a young guitar player inspired by the virtuosity of the eighties, Andrew honed his chops as a teenager and began playing in bands almost immediately. Never one to be satisfied with any one mode of expression, he soon began to gain proficiency at other instruments - most notably bass, vocals and drums.
Having played opening slots for the likes of Three Days Grace and Billy Talent as well as a three-week stint on the Van's Warped Tour, Andrew was also fortunate enough to work with with legendary producers such as Sylvia Massy (Tool, Johnny Cash) and Steve Thompson (Blues Traveler, Korn). Among other sessions, these experiences sparked his desire to produce and record other artists.
Andrew has produced, composed and performed numerous different styles, ranging from Metal to Country, Orchestral to Jazz. He has provided score for films, including the 2009 Psychological Thriller, "A New Design" and the upcoming horror movie, "Black Eve" (currently in post-production) as well as the TVO Kid's Show "Think Big". His tracks have also appeared on Global, Slice, OLN, MuchMusic, MuchLOUD, MTV2, BOLD, YTV, FOXkids (US) and numerous international networks.
In the age of increasingly computer integrated music production, Andrew's compositions almost always include live instruments, often played by himself. This brings an organic quality to his music and actualizes his philosophy of infusing the latest techniques and explorations of music technology with an ever-present human feel.
