Blurring the line between music and sound design...

Established in 2006, GroundUpSound is a UK publisher and label releasing original music from a small group of independent artists providing a unique flavour of alternative music, film & TV beds and atmospheres from a continually expanding catalogue.

Artists include Live Earth from the UK, with some very emotive and epic ambient looping soundscapes recorded both live and in the studio. Live Earth are a duo - brothers Dennis and Steve Dracup, who also have solo work available on GroundUpSound. Also of note is multimedia artist Dany Tomasini from Italy: ambient, electronic, experimental, minimalist. He has also been known to get a groove on from time to time!
